Overall, I'm very happy with the cost-benefit of this purchase. For the price, it's hard to beat. The small tablet definitely has a diminutive writing/drawing/input area (even with the dimensions listed, you might be surprised). Initially, like a few others in the reviews and 'round the web, I had serious install issues. The CD shipped with a corrupt dll file which took a bit of figuring, especially since this crashed my system - and not just a little, not just once, but every attempted install, and attempting to access virtually any of the files on the install disc initiated a crash+auto reboot. It wasn't pretty. After a deep breath, a call to Wacom helped. Their tech support was okay, but started out fairly snotty - "you probably did this," "your system must be old" (it's actually new), "your computer must be having problems," "the disc YOU decided to use for the install must have a corrupt file" which was interesting, since it wasn't so much the disc I "decided" to use as the disc that came with the tablet. Fun with personal pronouns. If you experience install issues you may wish to go to the Wacom site and head to downloads--->hardware drivers--->select system--->download update and obtain everything you need from the download. Other than being told that I have an old, fickle computer system and that I make terrible choices that aren't actually up to me, tech support directed me to the right place. All around, it was a fairly easy fix, just a tad annoying, especially for a product I was using for the first time - not a compelling start.
The tablet itself is pretty great and I use it to enhance/annotate presentations, draw, etc. I do like using it in conjunction with Evernote's Ritepen, so you may want to consider that as an additional investment.

Bamboo Fun
The Bamboo Fun tablet I received is absolutely perfect. It is the smaller version of the Bamboo tablet, but it suits my needs perfectly. I love that it's small enough to take along with my laptop, since I'm on the move quite a bit. It was easy to setup and the tutorial that came on the CD was enough to get me going in no time.

Highly recommended!
This is my first drawing pad device and I love it a lot!
It comes with Corel Painter, a very nice software to do your own art-work.
I highly recommend this device.

Bamboo Fun is a great little tablet
My order arrived as described, and it was easy to install and begin using the tablet and pen. I use it for digital painting, and for the price, it's a wonderful tool.

It is Fun, come and see
This was really fun, I'm a newbie to photoshop and all the bells and whistles, the fun pad is easy to use. Check out my pics that I recently drew for a health lesson I am writing.@
