Indeed, this is a high capacity battery and works well. In my experience, when new, it will provide roughly 6 hours of use on a Dell B130. But be aware that it is roughly twice as thick and twice as heavy as a standard battery. Due to the thickness of the battery, the back of the laptop will be lifted about 20 mm (3/4") off the desktop surface. Also be aware that, at the end of the charging cycle, the laptop power light may flash orange, indicating a faulty charge.

Sold as 7200mAh but received 6600mAh. They apologized for the mistake & offered to refund/return, but I kept it since it ran DVD play for 200 minutes on Inspiron 8600, vs a new 7200mAh (from a vendor that had one) that ran DVD play for 195 minutes.

Fits my HP DV6000 laptop perfectly. Battery life is outstanding with this. I haven't tried a real performance drain down test, but I'm sure I'd get at least 5 hours on this battery. It's true the battery sticks out the back and raises the case about 3/4 inch, but with my Nvidia Chipset and the known overheating problems, the extra space dosen't seem so bad. I also don't go portable very often, so the extra weight and bulk is no big deal when toting the laptop around my house. The battery compartment is also off-center on this widescreen model, but stability has not suffered. Laptop sits firmly on any surface. I realize that newer PCs have LED backlights and are much more efficient than my aging AMD chipset, but with this battery and Windows 7 installed, its like getting a whole new computer.

what a deal!
Ordered at 6:00pm on Friday. Arrived 11:00am Saturday. I like the extra bulk because of the way it lifts the laptop. I get 7 hrs. on balanced performance, 5 hrs. on high performance and about 2.5 hrs. watching tv shows from the internet. Great value. Nora


Great battery, everything it says it is
For the price, I was very concerned that this might be a lower mAh battery than it is being advertised as. So the first thing I did was test it. It is an 8800mah battery, it keeps my DV2000t running like a pro, and I have absolutely no problems with it. All in all, the best money I've spent on my laptop. I highly recommend you pickup one of these. They perform just like a factory new battery. (at, what, 1/3 of the price HP wants for one?!?)

You Just Can't Please Everyone All Of The Time
You know i bought this battery recently and i must say the shipping was fast, i live in NJ. in three days it was in my posession, works great and all that, but all that apart, i have read a lot of the comments and so called reviews on here, and i have to ask the question, what the hell do people really want, read the description & look at the picture of the battery for christ's sake, i see people complaining that it fits bigger and protrudes under the laptop, lol, can't you read? go to hp's website and you'll see just what they have in their description of the equivalent 9.99 product, "HP 12-cell Extended-Life Battery (VE12) HP part: EV089AA" if you find it's too bulky, well...there's always the "sexy flat 6 cell replacement"!!

I read some other reviews and based on others' feedback decided to purchase this 9 cell replacement battery for my daughter's Dell latitude PC. The battery is made in China but performs as well as the OEM. I am absolutely satisfied with this battery and its performance. It arrived within a week of purchase. I paid a little more for this one relative to the prices for some of the other replacement batteries but based on the various reviews this seemed to be a better quality product. It's still a lot less expensive than the replacements from Dell.

Dell Inspiron 700m battery replacement
I had my doubts but was proven wrong. My Dell is up and running and I will take much better care of this battery. I only use it now when I have to be portable and not when I have my laptop plugged in. Great price. Would recommend. This was very inexpensive.
