Does the job
I ordered this unit after the dog ate my factory Dell charger. The first noticeable difference is the weight of the unit. The factory Dell unit is much heavier and just feels more solid than this unit. But a new Dell charger is 2-3 times the price of this. My computer Dell Inspiron 15 charged up just fine with this, but I would be wary of leaving it plugged in all the time. The GEP unit runs upward of 150-160 F, you can't hold on to it to long after it charges a full battery. It states it is outputting 3.34 amps at 19.5 volts for a advertised output of 65watts, but it must be extremely inefficient for how my heat it is putting off. For less than .00, it is a great back-up or for someone on a budget!
