Not bad for the price
Not the greatest laptop backpack, but for what I paid, I am completely satisfied. It is hard to find a bag for a 17 computer, so I am not disappointed with my purchase.

Exactly what I needed
It's light, sturdy and is perfect for my daily commute. There are enough pockets to organize my belongings. The handle on top gives me an alternative way to carry. Great job.

Classy Enough for a Man Purse
My spouse kept losing things: his keys, his wallet, his Zune, his GPS. Or he'd hold all of these up in both hands and despair, "THIS DOESN'T FIT IN MY POCKETS!"

So, for Valentine's Day, I got him this messenger bag. Now he has a place for the Zune, GPS, wallet, keys, kleenex, notebooks, gaming books, beer, random socks, and the cat. He can cram the laptop in there if he has room. It's proven very sturdy and durable, which is good, because it has to stand up to his usage and the cats' use of it as a sleeping bag. It also screams "Smart Man Coming this way!" rather than "Guy with too much crap and needs a purse coming this way!".

I almost want one for myself.

great laptop bag
ive had the bag for a few weeks now its a great laptop bag it has padded sides and bottom to protect the laptop and has a strap to hold it in which is nice i just it had a another strap like to carry it like a briefcase just cause when i get in and out of the car i have to grab it by the big flap. also wish it has a little more compartments to store odd and ends stuff but other then that its a great bag nice and heavy and the design isnt bad either

Colours are very different.
The rest of the reviews here are fairly accurate but I thought I would add my 2 cents.

As far as the side pockets go, there is a fair space between the top of the pocket and the flap but realistically the chances of your phone falling out are fairly slim unless you are feeling a bit acrobatic. You would literally have to turn the bag upside down and shake it for this to be an issue.

There is 1 internal zip pocket as well as the one you see on the front which is good for all those little fiddly bits.

Seems to make for a fairly good uni bag although I have to say I'm not too convinced of the protective ability of a flimsy bit of foam when I carry my laptop and some books at the same time. The soft padding is better than a kick in the pants but it would provide absolutely no protection from torsional forces which are going to be a factor when it is suspended by the strap across your body and you are walking. I will probably end up getting a slim laptop protector or something similar.


As far as build quality goes, externally everything is excellent. I live in Australia and I payed a huge amount for delivery as I couldn't find any similar canvas bags here; I would rather have something that lasts than something that needs replacing in a year.

Internally however I am a bit disappointed. All internal pockets etc are of a very cheap feeling nylon fabric.

I cannot understand why any manufacturer would go to the trouble of making a bag out of such durable, high quality material on the outside if they are going to skimp on the inside. Having said that, this does not interfere with usability and there is apparently a 25 year warranty from case logic.

That about covers it. The main reason I decided to write a review however is to let any potential buyers know that the lovely vibrant green colour advertised is not the colour of the bag that I received. It is labeled as SNMB-Green but it is a much darker green, closer to brown. Amazon should probably change the photo to match the stock. I don't think it is too unreasonable to expect to receive the item you ordered.

Not all that durable
Pro: It's big. I can throw in a bunch of things. Looks fashionable.
Con: The strap broke after 1 month.

ok case
I was looking for a rolling case that would fit in the overhead on small regional jets.
This one does.

Pockets could be better organized.

I works well with my carry-on luggage. I am able to hook it to my luggage and roll both.

caselogic 17" loaptop case
I love my case logic 17" laptop case. My MacBook Pro 17" fits perfectly and there is plenty of room for my portable office supplies.

Nice but too small to be practical
This laptop bag is well made and I bought it because I thought it would be perfect for my new 10.1" Toshiba netbook. However all the netbooks require a DVD drive and this case just doesn't fit one well, along with the power cords. Also, there isn't room for a full size mouse without the bag bulging out. I'm returning this and buying a larger Targus bag.

Love it
It is a perfect fit for my acer aspire 1. It has room, too for the charger, my cell phone and a flash drive.

Excellent attache
My ASUS 1005PE fits. The brown is not shoe brown, it's more of a mushroom brown. Made very well. The front pocket holds my charge cords and wireless low-profile mouse nicely. I paid 16.98 USD delivered total. I would have gladly paid 25 or 30 dollars if I had seen it a store. This case works. It looks professional. Buy one. They're almost free.

Excellent Product
It holds my 10" Asus netbook, power adapter, Asus external CD / DVD USB drive and Bluetooth Wireless mouse. Case is small and compact as well and provides good protection for my equipment.

The Bag Is Great - The Strap Not So Much
I suspect that the IPad is going to give the "Man Bag" a new lease on life! The IPad cries out for a smaller bag that doesn't scream computer geek but still delivers an easy way to get the IPad and a few other things from one place to another. I bought this bag for that reason and it is just right for that purpose. It is a simple, conservative bag and looks pretty good going into a business meeting matched with a suit and tie and just just as well with blue jeans going into the coffee shop. It is JUST THE RIGHT SIZE for an IPad in a leather case, the USB cable and charger, and a modest selection of "stuff". A smaller bag wouldn't work for me and a larger bag moves you towards the computer geek look :-).

This bag is well made with no flaws in workmanship and materials. The only thing that keeps it from getting a solid "5" is the fact that the carrying strap fails badly. It is long enough and strong enough but it will not stay on your shoulder. The shoulder pad simply rolls up and slides right off - no stickem at all! Luckily I had another bag that had a great strap so after a little swapping around I was able keep this bag. I really like it otherwise.

This bag is well worth the price I paid. Work on the strap Caselogic and this is a real winner!

Nice inexpensive case, but a tight fit for a 14.1 notebook
I like this for what it is - a relatively small notebook case. It's a tight fit for my Gateway 14.1" notebook though, and you won't be able to fit many bulky items in it besides the notebook itself and a somewhat bulky power cable and AC adapter. If you need to take along more than that (besides very small items), then get a bigger notebook case... but for something small and relatively inexpensive to carry only the essentials, this is an excellent choice.

Does the trick
Fits my thinkpad 14.1 inch t400s perfectly. Has 2 extra compartments for other things. Overall looks like this thing will last a long time. Good finishing. One reviewer mentions "nothing stands out". That's silly, this isn't meant to be a laptop case with accents and leather stuff. Its a basic case for those who want practicality over looks. It get's 5 stars in that.

Super Case for Small Laptops/Netbooks
This is a nice-looking, well-appointed case for small laptops/netbooks, the latter which I am using the case for. My power cord and mouse all fit in the well-padded central compartment along with the netbook, leaving plenty of room for a magazine or book, writing implements, maybe an extension cord or network cable (for going to a hotel) in the other compartments (I probably could have even fitted a moderate-size cross-stitch project), but if you have a larger unit that completely fills the central compartment, there's still plenty of room in the case's extra pockets for the power cord and mouse, even a small portable DVD drive. The adjustable carrying strap has a nice broad shoulder pad for carrying the case comfortably; I took it with me over the weekend at a science fiction convention and felt no stress on my shoulder whatsoever. It is not leather, so if you are an aficionado of leather cases you will be disappointed. I find the grey nylon presentable and easy to keep clean. The price it is selling for on Amazon is quite reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend this case for any small computer equipment.

17" computer case
Nice computer case. Needed something for new laptop with a 17" screen. This served the purpose nicely.

Great item for a great price
I do love this case for my laptop. I love how much storage it has in the case. I feel like my laptop is very protected in this case. I also love the price of it LOL.

Tote that Laptop in style
I ordered this to take my new Laptop with its 17" screen and found a bonus because of all the extra storage on-board for different cords. Many times while staying in Motels and hotels I have found that a special cord was required because wireless was not offered and this case allows me to tote several different cords needed at times.
Its light weight and has a shoulder strap to make carrying my Laptop easy . The stitching on this case was perfect and the bag should last for years.

works just fine
Got this for a 17.3 inch Dell. Fits well, has a little extra padding on the bottom corners in case of a fall, and the side pockets are ample for the power adapter, disks, etc. Can't speak about durability yet (only had it a month) but so far it is exactly what I wanted.

Great to protect Macbook and easy to carry
I love my case-it has a pocket that fits the charger and cables, is easy to carry and gives great padding.

Perfect for my 13" Macbook Pro
This is a perfect fit for my 13" Macbook Pro, its adapter/charger, and it even has an extra storage pocket for a USB! I always recommend Caselogic products!

Useful for traveling with a laptop
I bought this bookbag to make traveling with my laptop easier and it has. It looks better than the picture and is sturdier than thought it would be.
