Logitech V220 Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks (Rose Pink)

I wasn't really in the market to buy a mouse. But when I saw this pink cordless Logitech at another retailer I had to have it. And, for an impulse buy, I'm very pleased with it.

I already have a GE cordless mouse but in metallic pink. So the Logitech was a bit more in cost. However it is a very solid mouse and goes with my pink hardware (well, hardware with the Pink Tranquility theme).

Some of the things I like is that it uses 1 AA battery rather than the two AAA batteries that my other mouse uses. Plus it even has a battery indicator to let me know if I need to pop in a freshly-charged NiMH. Also it used an invisible LED as opposed to the visible red LED. And it handles just as well as the GE so I'm not complaining. I didn't bother downloading and installing the Logitech-specific drivers. It works right out of the box since the Logitech has an included AA alkaline battery.

So between my two mice this one works just as well. I don't ask much from a mouse as long as it can move the pointer with no problem. I highly recommend this mouse for netbook use when one doesn't want to deal with a touchpad for precision work.

Good!
It is a good cordless optical mouse. Fits well in my palm. No drivers needed in Windows and it looks cool. My only wish is they shouldve made the receiver shorter. In addition, it doesnt look good when it is tucked underneath the mouse. It would be better if I could "hide" the receiver "inside" the mouse.


Gotta love Logitech
I have always been a huge fan of Logitech products, as they never seem to let you down. I was in the market for a new wireless mouse to go with my new awesome laptop and I knew I wanted a Logitech. When I saw the decorative outer shell, I knew not only was it going to be functional, but it would be pretty to look at as well.

What I didn't expect from this mouse was that it works wonderfully well just sitting on my lap, while wearing flannel pajama pants. It also worked amazingly well on the arm rest of my chair.

I do like the fact that it's not a huge mouse and does fit comfortably in those of us who have smaller hands and it's great that it only takes one battery and lets you know when it's time to change the battery. The mouse also houses the USB connector on the bottom, which will make it a lot easier when I have to pack up the laptop, as I won't have to worry where I put the USB port. It's a great little mouse and I would highly recommend it.


Everything you can expect in a low-priced wireless notebook mouse
My mouse ran pretty well... until I spilled a mug full of sugary tea got on it. But, my clumsiness aside, this is a good working mouse. It's nice and compact for carrying with your netbook. However, you need to weigh its portability with the size of your hands and how comfortable the small mouse will be.

Logitech Cordless Headset for PC & Mobile Phones


Ok, I also had to chime in with these one liner reviews like "bad bluetooth, no go well" and stuff.

I've owned this one and the last generation (which I thought was better).

Here are the pros:

- Great sound (receive and transmit). People can't tell I'm on a headset which almost never happens with any other product.
- Noise canceling actually really works great! Works so well, sounds passable to the called party on the highway with the windows sunroof open
- Easy simple controls

CONS:
- Not comfortable for long periods of time. I could never get it to feel comfortable
- Looses link to phone occasionally and you have to turn it on and off again to rediscover. It seems to do this more near the end of the battery charge, but does it full charge too.
- Ear loop eventually breaks

The generation before this was even more uncomfortable, but sounded even better. That one wasn't as poorly constructed and would have lasted a while longer but I lost it. It also suffered from drop outs.

I would not use this for computer usage..there are other products more suited for that. It is clearly meant to be a cellular device, don't know why they are marketing it any other way.

Logitech cordless headset
I've not used this item with my laptop, but the purpose for a cordless headset with a cell phone has been very successful. It is not as comfortable as the one I previously owned, quality is same, product is made as well as any small item of the like. I wouldn't drop it often. Setting up was with ease.


Overall this is a good product
The ease of use and comfort of the product is better than I expected. Sound quality is good. The only feedback I've heard was there was an echo for the person I was talking to. I turn the volume down, which reduced the echo, but made it a little difficult to hear when there's ambient noice. I would recommend.


Hmmmmmm
I bought this product for skype applications and on first attempt after installation software was not able to make it work. I called Logitech and they were unable to as well. They suggested I had a defective unit. The company I purchased from graciously sent another device and I was able to reinstall the software and utilize with ease using the Skype application. I was very pleased. Additionally, the device could be used as a bluetooth headset for my cell (which was much easier to hook up and worked fine). The problem came when I tried to use for my skype application last nite. I shut off the phone, as directed, intiated skype and made a call that did not work (yes I checked all the audio settings). I am perplexed. I will explore whether my laptop's bluetooth fuction is the culprit. At this point, I wish I would've paid 20 bucks more for the other headset I was considering. The verdict is still out but feeling a bit frustrated, B

Logitech MX620 Cordless Laser Mouse (Black)

My experience: great for Mac OS X and Windows XP -- even the preferences pane works great under OS X!

Bought one for my wife's Windows XP (SP3) laptop. Liked it so much I bought one for my iMac running Snow Lepoard (OS X 10.6.2). Downloaded Logitech Control Center (LCC) 3.2 for my iMac, and the software has worked wonderfully. I can reassign functions and keystrokes to all six buttons plus the left and right "scroll buttons" of the wheel. (So I consider it really an eight-button mouse.)

See below for the functions that can be assigned. Button assignments can be for a specific application, or "global" (for all applications that don't have specific assignments).

Here's one tricky thing to know: when selecting the application for special button assignments, select either the .app file itself or its alias (symbolic link), depending upon how you plan to launch the app! If you select the .app from /Applications while assigning button functions, and then launch the app via a symbolic link, your button assignments will not be in effect. Simple to fix by going back to assign and selecting the symbolic link instead.

A perfect fit for my medium-sized hand and my holding style. The tracking is great, it feels like a substantial, quality unit, and best of all uses a standard battery size. Use rechargable AAs or alkaline AAs. The latter lasted over 9 months (I think actually it's been a year) before they needed replacing, and we don't usually turn the mouse off when we're done with it! I like the scroll wheel set to "free-spin" mode the best. With the wheel in the "click, click" mode, the clicks seem a little coarser than I would normally like.

I've got the USB receiver plugged into my keyboard so I can't supply any good range information right now.

"Functions" that can be assigned to any key (under Mac OS X) include:
- nothing
- click (single, double, triple, right, and middle clicks)
- advanced click (single, double, and triple clicks, and click lock, all with key modifiers)
- cruise
- horizontal scroll
- keystroke (apparently any keystroke, with any combination of ctrl, alt, command and shift modifiers)
- modifiers (configure a button to generate ctrl, alt, command or shift)
- open: application, document, folder or web page (URL)
- back
- forward
- cover flow
- display control
- eject CD
- end session
- expose, dashboard, and spaces
- one-touch search (spotlight, finder, google, yahoo, or custom URL)

Comfortable and reliable
Scroll wheel does not really make you fly within a page. Need to adjust your settings. Buttons are very soft and responsive. Good mouse.


Decent Mouse
Okay, it's a mouse and it does what mice do. Point & click. Ba da bing.

I wasn't sure about how I might like the free-spooling wheel (which you can set to traditional mode if you don't like that), but have decided I like it. You're thinking how you might use it to scroll down long pages, but it turns out that the fast spinning is most often used scrolling back to the top of pages for me. I might read my way down a long page and then spin the wheel and zip back to the top to reach the navigation.

I have seen intermittent issues (not that often) when it's less responsive than it should be, but I can't tell if the interference might be a cordless phone, the wifi, the fact that its receiver is behind my desk or what.

On ergonometrics, I replaced a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 2 (whose wheel got ultra stiff making it unusable) with this new Logitech mouse, which is more narrow. I wish it were wider for my hands.


Comfortable Easy to Use Wireless Mouse
Logitech makes some great mice, and this is no exception. Plug it in and it works. Fits my hand well (typical size male hands). Buttons have a solid feel. You can turn the "clicks" in the scroll wheel on and off, which is a nice option depending on what you're scrolling. I'll be interested to see how long the batteries last.

Logitech LX8 Cordless Laser Mouse

I was looking for a solid mouse that is symmetrical because I am a lefty. Although others here have complained about the light touch on the side buttons, I have not had any trouble with that. It is definitely full size, I've tried several laptop size mice and they start to make my wrist and forearm hurt after only a few days (full time work). I've found this to be solid mouse for the price, nice feel and comfortable for long days at work.

Mobile & Easy to Use
I had never used anything bluetooth before so I must admit that I was worried about using the product. My new netbook did all the work once I clicked on the bluetooth emblem. I have used this mouse a lot and it is still on its original battery. It works like any mouse wired to the PC. It has a energy saving feature turning itself off if not used for a few minutes. (Just click either button to turn it back on.) Also, there is a power switch on the bottom. This mouse has already been to Korea and back. Small, light, no cables, no USB dongle--everything you could want.
