Nice Cover
I bought a Speck (when it was on sale) plastic cover for my HP. I liked it and thought it was a good idea. Although it made the laptop a little more bulky.

I decided to buy a cover for my Mac Book Pro (aluminum body) to protect my investment. The cover snaps on easily and looks nice. It also helps to make the edges of the open laptop a little less sharp (but only a little). The cover doesn't add a lot of bulk either.

The bottom panel has lots of open slots and helps with ventilation. I haven't used the feet because I use a laptop cooler. I did extend the feet once just to see how easily they worked. They appear to be a bit flimsy and I don't have a lot of confidence that they will last with any prolonged use.

I would recommend it for the price I paid (+).

A Warning
With the amount of effort put into making a keyboard with as many neat tricks and features as this, I can say that I appreciate the work involved. Now, I can't say I'm an expert at writing in Japanese, I'm not. I haven't really had much time to do so. I mainly bought this keyboard a couple of weeks ago just as an effort to remind myself it's something I need to start doing.

As you can see from the image, the space bar is puny, which is okay, but I feel like I can only use my left thumb to tap it, because my right hand is so far removed from its center. Any closer and it just feels crowded. Still, this isn't really a big problem.

The actual problem is that all the symbols used when holding Shift and tapping the number or alternative symbol keys are messed up. Why is 2 labeled with " instead of @ like it prints? Why does * = (, ( = )? It is all screwed up. If you're using this on a daily basis, especially after using a standard English keyboard for years, you're gonna' get confused often. And it's neither of the languages' fault, the symbols are misplaced. And they're not just rearranged, they're misprinted, too.

Overall, I recommend you try giving Dell's version a test run instead.

I ordered this item after I discovered that even with me washing my hands before using the computer and taking good care of it, the spot where my palms rest were starting to discolor after years of use. In order to prevent further damage, I went on a research spree and found this item to fit the bill. I am happy with it, although I noticed the texture on the spot where my palms rest on the wrist rest has changed a bit from being used but not a biggy. Would definitely purchase the same item again if this wears out and I need to replace it. The rest has slight cushy feel to it which I like.

Works well enough
The keyboard protection cover is sort of useless to me. I use a microfiber cloth to clean my screen anyway, and I purchased a separate keyboard cover for my mb. The wrist guard is clutch. I wear a watch and it keeps my comp safe from my watch rubbing against the aluminum and creating scratches. The keyboard cover is thick and it makes it awkward to close my laptop. But the wrist guard is what I wanted, and it works great!

The wrist wrest cover makes the laptop feel just a bit more comfortable than hard aluminum. It does not take up a lot of room and does not prevent the laptop from closing fully.

This is Standard Large Print Keyboard, Touch Typists do not need the Large Characters to see, that's why they are "Touch Typists".... not me, though, I wish!

This is for older folks with vision impairment, my wife does wear glasses and sees well, however, she likes to use it and its other standard features, shortcuts and so on. There may be other brands, like Zoom Text, however 3-4 times the price; all may have tech issues every once in a while, the good thing about Keys-U-See, they have a great warranty and tech support.

moshi ClearGuard MB Keyboard Cover for MacBook/Pro/Air

The pros outweigh the cons, that's for sure. But here are some of the good things about this product:
It's super thin, see-through, and very easy to use/clean. It does its job well and never leaves any marks/residue on the laptop screen once you close it (which was my main concern for my clean and new unibody 13" macbook).

There are 2 cons about this, but they are nothing too bad:
-Key pressing takes just a tiny bit more force, not anything dramatic, but you can tell the difference.
-My macbook's built in speakers are behind the top-most keys, so when you play music or anything, the Moshi Clearguard muffles the sound a bit...but it's not a huge problem for me since I use earphones almost all the time.

Overall, I still recommend this product =)

The case is easy to snap on, stays on secure. It doesn't block any ports, and doesn't keep the laptop from closing all the way. No heating problems so far, nice vents on the bottom. The feet to prop on the bottom are a little stiff.

Best keyboard ever
I bought this keyboard to replace the Dell QuietKey that came with my new computer, as was pleasantly surprised to find that this is the same model keyboard as I bought with my first PC back in 1993, updated with a USB connector.

This keyboard is very comfortable to use. I prefer keyboards with the keys banked steeply (as opposed to flat, like a laptop), and this keyboard is banked like the Himalayas. Unlike the QuietKey, the spacing between keys is large enough that I never hit the wrong key and never come down between two keys.

The keys themselves have a good feel and very positive action. You always know if you've pressed hard enough to trigger a keystroke. Also, the keys don't bind if you don't press straight down, something that often happens with newer keyboards.

In short, if you do a lot of typing and prefer a large, old-fashioned keyboard, you could do a lot worse than a KeyTronic. I almost with I'd bought a couple of extras so I can be sure of having a replacement in case this one ever wears out.
