This is definitely a great case for my macbook pro 13". I have the 2010 model of the macbook pro, and this case fits perfectly. It goes on fine, but removing it can be quite difficult, but there usually shouldn't be a reason for taking it off. The feel of this is great! It's not as hard and cold as hard plastic, and has almost a rubbery feel. Dust can sometimes collect on this case, but it isn't a big problem. Also, grease can be visible, but you can easily wipe it off. My biggest complaint is with the weight of it. The case can weigh down the screen a bit. It usually doesn't interfere with what I am doing much, but sometimes can pull the screen down depending on how I am positioned. It also makes it easier to close the computer, which I am not sure is either a pro or a con. Overall, I think that this is one of the best cases on the market, and definitely does the job. The color is absolutely gorgeous (I got purple), and this really protects my macbook pro! I would definitely recommend this product for others!

Great product, comparable to the Incase version.
I love it! I was looking for a cover and I did not want to get the plastic clear cases. So I originally wanted the dark teal color I saw on the Apple store website, but Amazon didn't have any so I settled for the red. It's not bright red, it's more a of deep burgundy color, which I absolutely love. It fits the Macbook Pro perfectly, however I do have some trouble with the button on side where it lights up to show how much battery there is left. My best friend pointed it out because she has the Incase version and her button is easily pressed from the case and lights are seen very clearly. The Speck cover color is a bit too dark to see it light up, but I don't use that feature so it's okay. But overall this is a great cover and it feels nice, I can't imagine those who get the clear plastic ones and are satisfied with that one. Anyone with a Macbook should definitely get this!


Perfect Fit
This is a perfect fit for my macbook, and not to mention super cute color! I love it and can't wait to take it out :)


Best Case I Have Owned
Compared to the last case I owned this one is miles ahead. The hard rubber material is perfect. It gives great protection and also makes it easy to grip. The fit of the case on a Macbook Pro is pretty incredible, but it is still easily removable. A feature lacking in other cases. The glow of the apple logo through the back is just as cool as promised.

Pretty much if you want a good quality case and have the money go ahead and get this one before going on ebay and getting one that is 10-15 dollars cheaper. You will thank yourself in the long run (I know this from experience).

So far I am loving this product. I found a tiny scratch on my Macbook Pro while on vacation, so I bought this case as soon as I got back. I had a little bit of trouble getting the bottom on, but that was all my fault, I had my computer turned around. But once I got it on correctly, it's been nothing but smooth sailing. Everything can still plug into my Macbook, it didn't add hardly anything to the weight or size, it still fits into the neoprene sleeve for transport, and the color is so cute! I'm definitely glad I bought this product, and Amazon's price was just right!!!

With that in mind, I absolutely LOVE Apple products, esp my MacBook Pro. I use it all the time at school. Everyone uses these types of cases and thats really what led me to get one. I used to have a sleeve and I noticed that even though it protected my computer, it scratched it everytime I took it out of the sleeve. Also, my computer would get damaged or scratched and have nothing to protect it (because when I use it its not in a sleeve of course).

The design is sleek, durable and nice. Really, if you have an iPhone, just imagine the sleek cases everyone gets to protect them... Same thing except better. I would recommend this product and the cover skin for the keypad. I multitask alot and find that when Im eating or doing my hair, I get so much junk on my computer... with this case, I dont worry about messing up my laptop anymore.

I originally got this in Red (back in Jan 2009) and needed a new case because I was sick of the Red.

Pros:
Love the new color!!! (Still wish Yellow was in Stock)
grippy so i know i'm not going to drop it with my butterfingers
nice to have that extra added protection (been told that macbooks tend to scratch easily, so im glad i can protect it)
can use it with or w/o sleeve. i do both depending on which bag i put it in, although it is tough getting it inside the 13" neoprene skin
doesn't seem to pick up dirty stains. i've had it sitting on newpapers and nothing.

Cons:
People think i'm crazy for covering it, i guess being a mac owner, you want the world to know it's a mac, when my computer is on, you can still see the apple
Pain to take off (like other readers) it won't break though - i thought I was going to snap my red one to replace it with this purple and it was fine.
don't use greasy lotion, or touch it after wolfing down fries, grease does show, pain to clean

Super Sleek and Classy!
I love this case for my Macbook Pro! It snaps on like a dream and looks great. You can tell that it really can provide a lot of protection for your precious hardware. Thanks Speck!


Okay but....
This case does the job but it catches fingerprints like crazy and after a while the cover started to feel a little loose in some areas. Overall this case is okay but expensive for a piece of plastic but it's worth buying before your scratch your macbook pro, trust me it sucks when that happens. >.


It's good. Just buy it.
Cleaning is a bit awkward, because the case catches all fingerprints and oils from your skin... but the color is dark enough that you can't really tell so no worries!


Really a great case
I'v had mine for about 2 years and it's still holding up well. There are a few scratches but it's better to have a scratched case then a scratched mac. It allows ease of access to all ports.
The only problems I had was that the top part of the case is a pain to take off but it's manageable. Also I noticed my mac gets very hot, hotter then normal when it is in this case. But everything else with the case is fine!

I searched Amazon for several days to find the perfect cover for my Macbook Pro 13' Aluminum Body, and finally settled upon this one. I was hesitant to get it, due to a few uneasy reviews, but I have found this product to be perfect! It covers my entire laptop and doesn't add too much more weight. I've had problems with laptop cases falling off or not clipping on correctly, but I'm able to put it on and remove it easily without any problems. The color is adorable and it has protected my laptop from scratches from the kids and so much more. The only problem I've encountered is that my laptop charger doesn't stay in firmly when attached with the cord coming out the back of the laptop. If I turn it, the charger fits snug. Just something to look out for, but I haven't found it to be troublesome. Overall, a great buy for a great price!

Great Cover

Looks and works great on my MacBook Pro 13
About a couple of months ago, I started noticing some visible scratches on the outside of my MacBook Pro 13. I decided it was time to get a case to protect it and remembered a friend of mine who (like me) only worked on her MacBook Pro and had since been using the Speck see-thru cases. I gave it and I can only say I love it: it looks and works great on my MacBook Pro.

In case you are wondering, it does work with the new designs of the power plugs that have the cable coming in sideways and not perpendicularly.

perfect to protect your mac from scratches and even little bumps... red its the best color, its incredible how great it looks...
it can be a little difficult to take it out, but there will never really be a reason to do so...
